Our granddaughter will not use another bottle for her eats. She loves the size and now is able to pat the bottle. We wish we could purchase the playtex ventaire advanced bottles in our local stores. Worked as well as Avent bottles (2010-01-03)
I had a collection of Avent bottles and two WIDE mouth (only use the wide mouth kind no matter what brand--much easier to clean and fill) Playtex VentAire bottles. The VentAire bottles worked as well as the Avent bottles. In fact when my son was just home from the hospital the size 1 nipples on the Avent bottles were too fast for him and we used the VentAire bottles for the first three weeks exclusively. If I had it to do again, I could go either way: Avent or VentAire. I have only one VentAire complaint: on one of my VentAire bottles the numbers began to wear off rather quickly. This only happened on one bottle, the second was not impacted. Maybe different lots with different ink???
