I absolutely LOVE this cup!!! I wanted a cup that was basically a "sippy cup" that had a straw and that CLOSED: this is it. My daughter left her old cup at the park one day (her only one at the time) and to my horror, when i went to the store to buy another one they were discontinued. I've bought countless cups trying to find a duplicate but to no avail. The new "insulator" and "spill proof" design they have now is the newer version of the Quickstraw and i hate that one. Since it's a "spill proof" design it's a slower flow making it harder to suck the liquid out of the cup through the straw. Which is great, i guess, for babies learning to use a straw since it doesn't come rushing out but if you have a 2 year old like i do, it might be a little too frustrating for them.

better than the newer "insulator" cups (2010-02-26)
I love these quick straw cups and wish they didn't replace them with the new "Insulator" cups by Playtex. The Insulator cups are very leaky, and I have found that the quickstraw cup does not leak even when it is lying on its side. They would only leak if it is turned completely upside down and shaken, maybe. The only con that I found with the quickstraw is that the cap that slides over the straw to cover it can be removed. This is fine when washing the cup, but it became problematic when my children dropped the cup and I would have to spend time looking for the cap. Other than that, I loved this cup!

Buy these while you can! (2009-12-10)
Wish they hadn't discontinued these. They are far superior to the new straw cups Playtex offers -- the new ones leak, but these old ones don't. Buy them while you can!
