Great bottles, time saving and my daughter loves it! (2010-04-28)
I have bought these bottles since my son was born now he's 3 and I just had a daughter and they are our fav. my baby has gas problems so this helps just when i bought they shipped 2 blue and 1 green I was looking at picture and was trying to purchase girl's colors so they dont ship as shown, but amazon is so great they gave me a credit and I still kept the bottles.

Great for on the go (2010-01-22)
I love these bottles! They are great if you do not have a warmer, you can just flip the bottle upside down and run hot water over the milk inside, the holes on the sides of the bottle keep the hot water flowing so that hot water is constantly flowing and warming up the milk. The only downside is that don't waste your money on 4 ozs. Just buy the 8 oz bottles and put the 4 oz drop ins in it, my baby only got to use these bottles for five weeks, then i was investing in the 8 oz. bottles. Amazing system the drop-ins are!

Best bottle (2009-10-29)
My LO had horrible gas issues from the start. We went through avent, ventaire advanced, evenflo glass, evenflo plastic, evenflo comfi, etc. Finally I had enough and decided to try these out. It's made him a new baby and even a better burper! They're very easy to use (the bonus of not having to actually clean the bottle), great for travel, no leaks, and the flow's are perfect for him.

Mixing formula is a little tedious but worth it with liners. Now that LO doesn't drink enough for 2 batches of formula I've started to make individual bottles in advance. Since I don't trust the measurements on the bottle I have to use a glass bottle for the water. When I would heat the bottles I would place a bowl of water in the microwave, heat that, and then let the bottle stand in the bowl for a few minutes and shake (running water never worked). In the beginning it was also tricky to see how much LO was actually eating-- with the 4oz bottles you could unscrew the top but now that the big bottles make the expandable liners it's a bit of a guessing game.

My only con's are that I wish they would still make the regular 8oz liners rather than the expandable but I can't find them anywhere. And it would have been nice to have 6oz bottles instead of 4! I bought 11 4oz bottles since LO was eating 12 times a day. He only stayed with 4oz for about the first 2wks and then increased himself and the bottles were completely useless. :( He's already eating 8oz and he's not 3 months yet (he's a bigger baby). Thankfully we can still use the extra rings and nipples and the smaller bottles work for the baby juice he has to have.

I recommend these to all of my friends that are expecting now.

Tried so many and this is what worked best for us. (2009-08-31)
I have tried so many bottles. Really, Avent, Soothie, Mam, Ventaire, Dr. Browns, Gerber, Evenflo, and Born Free: from the cheapest to some of the most expensive.

These are not perfect but they are what worked the best.

Pros:
-wide nipple, baby preferred
-cleaned easily
-had few parts
-could be warmed in a bottle warmer or hot water
-didn't need special tricks to keep from leaking

Cons:
-had to buy liners
-measurements could be better

I got over buying the liners in two ways: I started recycling my liners and I started using the Playtex flat liners available here on Amazon which helped the cost a lot. I can buy 5 months supple of liners (5 bottles a day) for less than $30 shipped/taxed.

The measurements are still not great but since I premix every day's formula in a large pitcher the night before, I don't have to have the exact measurements. I know now from practice at about where on the liners the milk needs to go.

The Best Baby Feeding System (2009-08-22)
Do yourself a favor and get these Playtex bottles to begin with. I started with Avent bottles (because Avent also offers sterilizers, bottle warmers, etc....) But Avent bottles were AWFUL. They leaked and it was impossible to screw the lids on correctly. So I got Dr. Brown bottles. They were pretty good and they didn't leak... but it was a big hassle to wash (it takes forever to wash so many little parts with the tiny brush they give you). So I switched to Playtex after finding out that it offered BPA-free disposable liners. I am so happy I switched. It doesn't leak! And my life is so much easier since all I have to do is wash the nipples.... and the baby likes it.
